Monaco sensation Thomas Lemar has identified his preferred destination amid speculation he’s set for a move to the Premier League in January.

Lemar, 22, appeared on the verge of joining Arsenal in the summer transfer window, but Alexis Sanchez’s failed £60million transfer to Manchester City meant a deal never materliased.

It’s understood the Gunners are ready to make another offer for Lemar in the new year, but Arsene Wenger will come up against stiff competition from both Liverpool and Chelsea.

The Independent suggest the France midfielder has identified Liverpool as his first choice destination despite Arsenal’s obvious interest ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

It’s claimed Lemar could cost as much as £90m, with Monaco desperate for compensation from losing another of their top stars.
