Jose Mourinho has suggested that he was not happy with Romelu Lukaku’s movement in Manchester United’s draw with Burnley on Boxing Day.

Sean Dyche’s side were two goals in front by the break, while United struggled to create many clear-cut chances in the opening 45 minutes at Old Trafford.

Jesse Lingard was brought on at half-time and his double salvaged a 2-2 draw for Mourinho’s men.

Lukaku, meanwhile, failed to register a shot on target during the entire match and his only attempt was a wayward header.

And Mourinho admits he had expected better movement from his attackers.

‘We can say we had some success [with the half-time changes],’ said Mourinho.

‘I still think so many balls in so important areas, lots of crosses, good crosses, low crosses, we didn’t attack all these balls well, also, normally not lucky in the rebounds.

‘I’m happy with the effort, happy with the personality, happy with the feeling we didn’t lose, but of course, we lost two points.’
