Marcus Rashford has missed out on a place in the starting XI for Manchester United’s game with Everton, despite the absences of Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Jose Mourinho is without his first choice central strikers, but has opted to keep Rashford on the bench.

It means Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial lead the attack at Goodison Park., with the latter expected to take up the more central role.

Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic fill the midfield.

Meanwhile Marcos Rojo fills in the for the suspended Ashley Young at right-back.

For Everton, Wayne Rooney starts against his former club in seven changes for the Toffees from the side that lost 2-1 to Bournemouth on Saturday.
