The Red Devils target recently teased fans by snapping himself while preparing to board a plane along with the caption "destination unknown".
He also liked a video on Paul Pogba's Instagram page - where the Frenchman told Romelu Lukaku he would "see him in training".
He then followed Lukaku and liked a whole host of Pogba's snaps, perhaps hinting to United to part with the €30million it will take to sign him?
Naby Keita to Liverpool?
Eagle-eyed Reds fans recently noticed the Guinean 'liked' a picture of him mocked up in a Liverpool shirt, suggesting he supports the idea of this being a possibility.
Of course, he could just be acknowledging the effort someone has gone to to suggest he will soon be a Liverpool player.
But the intention alone definitely got Reds supporters talking.
Kylian Mbappe to Arsenal?
The teenager has been linked with everyone this transfer window, but initially it seemed the Gunners were at the front of the pack to seal his signature.
It came as little surprise then that when the France international 'liked' a picture of Alexis Sanchez on Instagram, Arsenal fans got a little excited.
The Gunners since signed Alexandre Lacazette however on a £52million deal, and for now at least, have seemingly cooled their interest in the Monaco forward.
Radja Nainggolan to Chelsea?
When Roma's Kevin Strootman took to Instagram to wish Antonio Rudiger all the best ahead of his move to Chelsea, he probably didn't expect to see a response from Nainggolan.
And we'd guess he definitely didn't expect to see the response he got from the Belgian to his comment: "Ps. I hope that this will be the last goodbye of this summer."
"I don't know," responded Nainggolan, along with three smiley face emoticons, and well, what are Chelsea fans supposed to interpret from that?
Benjamin Mendy to Man City?
The 22-year-old recently hinted he is weighing up a £40million move to the Premier League with a curious Instagram post.
Alongside a picture of him wearing a pair of Union Jack shorts, the defender posted the caption: "See you soon", which could be interpreted as an indication he will leave France.
Well, at least that's what Man City fans - who are hoping he follows his former Monaco teammate Bernado Silva to the Etihad - thought.
Tiemoue Bakayoko to Man United?
The Monaco midfielder appeared to drop a hint he would be keen on a transfer to Manchester United this week - but quickly deleted his post.
The post appeared on Twitter, where it was picked up on by United fans, and saw the Frenchman responding to some transfer gossip.
The story he was apparently reacting to suggested he could soon be the Red Devils' latest recruit, to which he replied: "Yes, this".
Kylian Mbappe to Man United?
The French starlet apparently enjoyed Manchester United's Europa League success last season, at least that's what fans on social media thought.
The teenager liked an Instagram post from Marcus Rashford celebrating the fact the Red Devils had made it all the way to the final.
And well, excited supporters were convinced the friendship between the pair could help with a potential deal - well, it worked with Romelu Lukaku.
Thomas Lemar to Tottenham?
The Frenchman's Monaco teammate Djibril Sidibe got this rumour circulating, as opposed to Lemar himself.
The 21-year-old, who is a target for both Arsenal and Tottenham, was mocked up in a Spurs shirt by an optimistic fan on social media.

The Mexican forward recently dropped a sneaky hint he would perhaps like to re-sign for Manchester United - delighting Red Devils supporters.
While on Twitter, Hernandez chose to 'like' a post from Architects' Samuel David Carter calling for the Old Trafford club to resign the 'Little Pea'.

Alvaro Morata to Man United?
The Real Madrid forward got Red Devils fans talking a little while ago when he changed his Instagram picture on social media.
Not only did he remove the image of him in a Real shirt however, he also deleted his bio, which stated he was contracted to Los Blancos.
Unfortunately for the Spaniard though, a potential deal to Man United appears to be dead in the water now following Lukaku's signing.
