This week's Mirror Football podcast contains the live breaking news of the potentially the biggest Premier League transfer story of the summer.
The latest episode (which you can listen to above) features all sorts of treats and delights, including an agent who 'died' on a pitch explaining the perils of Deadline Day panic buying and an assessment of what deals we can expect to be done before the end of the window.
However, this new edition of the podcast - which you can subscribe to on iTunes - also contains our Chief Football Writer John Cross revealing that Manchester City are prepared to offer Raheem Sterling plus cash for Alexis Sanchez.
Recorded early on Tuesday morning, Cross had just got news of this remarkable offer when he joined our host Sam Matterface.
"Man City have bid on Alexis Sanchez," Cross confirmed. "Arsenal have been resolute that they would not sell, but City have thrown something into the mix, by offering Raheem Sterling plus cash.
"I still think Arsenal will stand firm and it will be difficult to persuade them to sell - but offering a top-quality replacement may help tempt them to do so."
"But if they do sell Sanchez, what is already a bleak for Arsenal fans will get worse.
Cross also paints a pretty bleak picture for Arsenal when it comes to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's proposed £35million move to Chelsea.
"Oxlade-Chamberlain has made a career choice. He's got a year left on his contract and Arsenal want to cash in now. He wants to move forward, improve himself and develop, perhaps with England in mind, and I think he feels that he hasn't been able to fulfil his huge potential with Arsenal.
"He's got the real capacity to come back and haunt Arsenal."
