Sead Kolasinac has made an impressive start to life at Arsenal, and now Alexis Sanchez has heaped further praise on the Bosnian.

Kolasinac moved to the Emirates on a free transfer from Schalke in the summer.

The 24-year-old was the star turn in the weekend’s come-from-behind win over Swansea, scoring the equaliser before playing a role in Aaron Ramsey’s winner.

Kolasinac’s display further cemented his place as something of a cult figure with Arsenal supporters.

And Sanchez has opened up on his relationship with the wing-back, revealing he much prefers playing with him than against.

“It’s tough [against him in training] because he’s strong and he’s hard to get around!” Alexis told Arsenal's official website. “He’s a very experienced player and he’s really strong.

“When it matters [in games], he finds me and makes good passes so I can score. He is an intelligent player who can create good goalscoring opportunities.

“He’s already demonstrated his quality. He’s scored goals, provided assists and shown what he can do both in European and league games.”
