Arsenal fans are accusing Eden Hazard of copying Mesut Ozil's unorthodox chipping technique after his brace in Chelsea's 3-1 win over Newcastle.

The Belgium international netted for the home side with a chipped goal in 21 minutes, cancelling out Dwight Gayle's early opener.

Alvaro Morata put the Blues into the lead moments later before Hazard scored a cheeky Panenka penalty to secure all three points.

Gunners supporters keeping track of the game, ahead of their own crucial match against Manchester United on Saturday, picked up on something from the first half.

As Hazard stormed towards goal moments before netting his first effort of the day, he fired the ball into the ground.

The ball bounced and then flew over the head of Newcastle goalkeeper Karl Darlow before hitting the back of the net.

Arsenal fans pointed out that they had seen this unusual technique before, when Ozil scored against Huddersfield in their 5-0 demolition last week.

And they quickly took to Twitter to point out the fact that the Belgian had taken a leaf out of the German playmaker's book.
