Alexandre Lacazette and Hector Bellerin took to Twitter shortly after Arsenal's Community Shield win over Chelsea for a little conversation.

And it's safe to say that Gunners fans absolutely loved the talented pair chatting enthusiastically about Arsenal's success.

The Gunners went one behind in Sunday's match at Wembley when Victor Moses found the back of the net shortly after the break.

Chelsea were cruising towards the finish line before Pedro was shown a red card late on for a reckless challenge on Mohamed Elneny, giving Arsenal a glimmer of hope.

Moments later Bosnian left-back Sead Kolasinac, who came on as a substitute for the injured Per Mertesacker, popped up at the right place at the right time to grab an equaliser and take the game to penalties.

The two teams took part in the brand new ABBA penalty format for the shoot-out, which is said to make the process fairer on the team going second.

And it seemed to work wonders for Arsenal as Olivier Giroud smashed home the winning spot-kick following missed penalties from Thibaut Courtois and Alvaro Morata.

Ahead of the game, Bellerin had tweeted a picture of himself with the Gunners' new £52million signing Lacazette.

He captioned the image: "Don't worry bro. We got this. We win at Wembley!"

Following the game, he tweeted the Frenchman, saying: "Told you Alexandre Lacazette! Perfect way to start the season with a trophy."

The former Lyon striker replied with a series of emojis before writing: "I have to listen to you more often my friend! Great win today!"

Lacazette accompanied the message with a picture of the duo proudly posing with the Community Shield inside the Wembley dressing room.

And well, Gunners fans loved their short but sweet interaction.
