It was a little hairy at times - especially in the first period - but Arsenal got the job done in the end against West Brom on Monday night.
Goals in each half from Alexandre Lacazette secured the Gunners a 2-0 win, and hinted that the Frenchman could be ready to assume the mantle of the Gunners' new star man as Alexis Sanchez had a subdued evening and Mesut Ozil was left on the bench for most of the match.
Ozil eventually appeared late on to replace Sanchez, but by then the Chilean seemed to have angered plenty of Arsenal supporters with what he did during the match.
With the score at 1-0 just six minutes into the second half, Sanchez - who was later slammed by Baggies boss Tony Pulis and called a "cheat" for his role in winning a first-half free-kick - was seen doing keep ups on the left touchline.
He was closed down by both Jake Livermore and Jay Rodriguez, with the latter easily taking the ball off him and clearing.
It was really the act of a player who was enjoying his team being three or four goals up, not just one, and Gunners fans hit at the Chilean for being fairly reckless while the game was still on the line.
Is this a sign that Gunners fans are beginning to turn on him?
