Ian Wright heaped praise on Alexandre Lacazette following Arsenal's 5-2 win over Everton this weekend, but revealed he wants to see a little bit more from him.

The France international started alongside teammates Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez for the first time this season, as the Gunners scored goals for fun against 10-man Everton.

Nacho Monreal bagged Arsenal's first of the game, bringing them level, before Ozil, Lacazette, Aaron Ramsey and Sanchez put the match to bed.

Lacazette was a stand-out performer for the Gunners, helping his teammates with intelligent play as well as getting on the scoresheet himself.

And Wright spoke highly of the striker on Match of the Day 2: "I love Lacazette. He's a fantastic signing," he said. "When he stretches teams, look at Ozil and Sanchez, they've got the space to run into."

Wright also provided the Frenchman with some advice however, suggesting he can improve his game if he becomes a little greedier in the final third.

"When he gets into this situation [in the penalty area], he finishes so so well," explained Wright.

"I don't want to see him come and getting involved in the link up play because we have enough players that can do that.

"I would love to see him on the edge of defenders, and running into those little slots, stretching teams."
