Arsene Wenger will contest his FA charge after criticising officials again following Arsenal 's draw with Chelsea.

The Gunners salvaged a 2-2 draw at the Emirates but Wenger bemoaned the decision to award a penalty for a foul on Eden Hazard by Hector Bellerin.

Wenger claimed the "farcical decision" to award the champions a penalty cost his side, before insisting he will "100 percent" challenge the charge against him.

Failure to win an appeal could see him receive a stadium ban due to this latest charge coming less than 12 months after receiving a four-match touchline ban.

"You can listen to every interview I said," Wenger told Sky Sports. "I stick to everything I said without a problem.

"The regret we have is we were first to score and after that we have a farcical decision.

"Look, since the start of the season it is what we have to take. I say it's a farcical decision - you could give 10 penalties like that a game. You read the foreign papers what they write about that and the English papers and you will see a difference.

"Games are spoiled by factors you cannot determine - we can only continue to play the way we want to play and hope things go for us. At the moment we have to face surprising decisions.

"What I find terrible is that we have just seen a great football game and we talk only about things nothing to do with football. For me it would be nice to at some stage talk about football again."

The point leaves Arsenal further behind in the race for the top four, five points back from Liverpool ahead of FA Cup action against Nottingham Forest this weekend.
