Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has admitted that he is still getting used to the difference in refereeing in the Premier League .

The 26-year-old joined the Gunners from Lyon in a £56million move this summer and has netted four times in seven games so far.

But despite this decent start to life in English football, he is still getting his head around what referees will let go.

"I have not totally adapted yet, there are things that still surprise me, but I am trying, I am watching quite a few matches to understand English football," he told SFR Sport.

"I am watching quite a lot of my matches with Arsenal and when I look back and see what I didn’t do right, I try to learn from it.

"Which hopefully facilitates my progression. The refereeing decisions [still surprise me]. Sometimes I think it is a bit dangerous.

"But then I see that nobody is shocked, so I tell myself it must be normal."

The France international also revealed his turns to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry for advice.

"Henry was my idol, we talk a lot. He gives me advice, and if I have some questions I know I can count on him."

Lacazette was named in the France squad that will face Bulgaria on Saturday and then Belarus three days later.
