Arsenal fans get to experience the unique thrill of watching their team in action at six o'clock on a Thursday this week, as the Gunners continue their Europa League campaign.

Arsene Wenger and his men are off to Belarus to face BATE Borisov after beating Cologne 3-1 in their opening game, and the Gunners boss was putting his team through their paces at London Colney on Wednesday morning.

Alexis Sanchez was in attendance as Wenger and his men limbered up for the game, and plenty was going on.

Cheer up, Arsene. You'll love Belarus! (

Including these 10 things.

1. Dressed in their all black Europa League training gear, Arsenal's Reservoir Dogs were ready to get to work

Mr Benched, Mr Wanted To Go To City, Mr Wanted To Go To Barca, Mr Surprisingly Consistent, Mr Frustrating (

2. Jack Wilshere started the session in his usual position of ball boy

3. But given that this isn't a Premier League game, he was soon allowed to join in

4. And they even gave him a ball to play with

5. Excited ahead of another Europa League game, Alexis Sanchez was struggling to pick a winner

6. Olivier Giroud - in a pleasingly old school pair of black boots - was limbering up ahead of a likely start

7. Team spirit seemed good though, as evidenced by the group effort to help Nacho Monreal tie his shoelaces

"Over, under, in and out, that's what shoe tying's all about" (

8. Per Mertesacker was practicing his Superman impression

"Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a knee injury. Out for four weeks." (

9. Arsene Wenger, meanwhile, seemed to be in a world of his own

"Sure, we wanted to be in the Champions League, but then the goalposts were moved" (

10. And given that this is just a Europa League game, he even tried to slope off for a bit without anyone noticing

We can see you, we can see you, we can see you sneaking out! (
