Arsene Wenger is in the running for the September manager of the month award.

Arsenal won two and drew two last month and sit fifth, six points off the pace.

The Gunners boss appears the outsider for the award though with Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino nominated.

Manchester City were the only side to win all four matches last month in a devastating run.

They opened up with a 5-0 thrashing of Liverpool before hitting Watford for six at Vicarage Road. Another five-goal haul over Palace followed and City ended the month with an impressive 1-0 win at champions Chelsea.
