Arsene Wenger has received some welcome positive news ahead of Arsenal's trip to Watford.

The Gunners were dealt a major blow during the international break after Shkodran Mustafi suffered a hamstring problem.

But there is also good news on the injury front, reports Football.London with Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck back in contention.

Laurent Koscielny will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the clash at Vicarage Road.

Sead Kolasinac will also be assessed ahead of the encounter.

Wenger has several selection headaches further up the pitch, with almost of his attacking talent now fit again after injury.

Ozil and Welbeck returned to full training on Monday and will most likely be named in the squad, as will Francis Coquelin who is back again following his hamstring problem.

Alexis Sanchez is due back in London on Friday and will be assessed by club's medics upon his return from south America, where the Arsenal man saw his World Cup dreams dashed following Chile's defeat in Brazil.

Calum Chambers is still out with the thigh problem that has kept him sidelined for much of the season.
