Arsene Wenger has revealed the part of his job he enjoys the most, despite not being involved in it as much as he would like.

The Frenchman has been at Arsenal for an impressive 21 years, guiding his side to three Premier League titles and seven FA Cup triumphs in his time.

In an interview with BT Sport, the Gunners boss opened up on his passion that is Arsenal's academy.

Wenger has overseen the progression of the likes of Jack Wilshere, Alex Iwobi, Cesc Fabregas and many more in his time.

"I do highly concentrate on the Arsenal academy process," said Wenger.

"What I have lost, for example, over the last ten to twelve years is I have had to dedicate much more time to the first team, the media demands are huge now.

"But I still follow up and I think it's one of the parts of my job I enjoy the most, you know, it's to give a chance to young people."

The Gunners boss added that he also makes the final decision on whether a player progresses to the first team or not.

Wenger added: "In the end I will decide yes, he has a chance. Or yes, he might not make it."
