Arsene Wenger has defended Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil's commitment to Arsenal amid speculation the pair could leave this summer.

Both players run out of contact at the end of next season and neither seem any closer to extending their current deals.

With both stars now 28, the pair are currently in the prime years of their careers. Sanchez has been particularly good this season, netting 28 goals in all competitions.

If Sanchez and Ozil were to leave, it would leave a giant gap for Wenger and the Gunners chiefs to fill.

But Wenger has given Arsenal fans reason to hope after making a call on their body langauge.

"Sanchez and Ozil, maybe one day I will be able to speak about that, but I don’t question their effort and focus," said Wenger.

"They are part of the results as well, like I am.

"First of all they are under contract. And they behave like they want to be at the club."
