Manchester United have many players in their current first XI worthy of praise.

Romelu Lukaku has proved he could have cost more than the £75million United shelled out for him in the summer with seven goals already this season.

Paul Pogba - prior to his injury, of course - has been looking every bit the player the Red Devils made their most expensive purchase the previous season.

Nemanja Matic has been a revelation since signing, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan only gets better the more appearances he makes.

Marcus Rahford and Anthony Martial are making Jose Mourinho wish he could play 12 men instead of 11 every week, Phil Jones has improved significantly, and Marouane Fellaini, who has at times been criticized by Red Devils fans, is scoring goals for fun.

In all it seems that for the first time since the glory days under Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United's time is upon us once again.

But despite the current squad occupying every waking thought of the United fanbase, there is someone else catching the eye for his brilliant performances.

Andreas Pereira joined Valencia from the Old Trafford club on loan at the beginning of September - a decision which split opinion among fans.

The 21-year-old might not quite be ready to start games regularly for Manchester United, but he is certainly showing the world he is a viable option.

And Red Devils fans are both delighted to see him playing well - particularly in Valencia's 3-2 win over Athletic Bilbao last time out - and a bit frustrated by the fact he isn't wearing their club's colours while doing so.
