Manchester United face Liverpool on Saturday in what will be the Red Devils' biggest test of the season - and they can create history if they pick up all three points.

Jose Mourinho's men travel to Anfield in sensational form, having won six from their opening seven league games.

The Old Trafford side currently sit second in the table, joint on 19 points with rivals Manchester City.

United have never claimed 22 points from their opening eight Premier League games - but could do it with a win over Liverpool.

However, if Mourinho wants his name written in the Red Devils history books he will have to win without a number of key players.

10 out of the 11 times Mourinho has faced Liverpool at Anfield he has opted for a three-man central midfield.

But Marouane Fellaini, Paul Pogba and Michael Carrick are all out injured meaning Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera are the only two fit central midfielders left.
