Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho launched a scathing attack on referees last night after his side were denied a penalty in their loss to Southampton.

Mourinho was adamant that his team should have been given a spot-kick when Radamel Falcao was felled by goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

While chasing the ball, the keeper clearly caught Falcao, but the referee deemed that he had already taken a tumble and the Colombian was subsequently booked.

"I think it's time for people to be honest and say that I'm right," Mourinho told Chelsea TV.

"Maybe I'm going to be punished but I have to say it, because my players and the supporters deserve me to say it... we don't get one decision from the referees. One.

"We lost in Porto with a big penalty in the last minute in the face of two officials.

"We had a big penalty that the referee should be here, speaking to you, explaining why he did not give the penalty. A crucial penalty.

"They don't give. Never. They are afraid to give. We were punished by that."

But what do you think about the penalty shout?

Do you agree with referee Bobby Madley that Falcao was already tumbling to the ground before contact was made?

Or do you think that Falcao was blatantly brought down by Stekelenburg and the referee should have pointed to the spot?
