Juan Mata had Manchester United fans panicking after reading his latest blog post following his side's 1-0 win over Tottenham.

In the entry, the Spaniard spoke about his happiness at seeing the club record back to back wins over Swansea and Spurs after their shock 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield.

He then looked ahead to their Champions League group game against Benfica, who they narrowly beat in Lisbon two weeks ago.

And warned his teammates - while reassuring the fans - against complacency, despite them sitting top of their group with three wins from three.

In all the blog post was exactly how you'd expect it to be.

It told Red Devils fans what they wanted to hear while providing a brief update on what has been going on behind the scenes from a player's perspective.

But then Mata added a PS. at the bottom, which caused some concern.

In it the former Chelsea winger wrote: "I take this opportunity to congratulate England for winning the Under-17 World Cup in India.

"In particular to my former team-mate Angel Gomes, who made his debut against Crystal Palace in the final game of the last Premier League season."

Supporters began to worry upon reading the word 'former', with many asking whether the youngster is on his way out the door at Old Trafford.

But Mata, who obviously noticed his Twitter notifications light up more than usual, later returned to his blog post to edit the entry.

And yes, he removed the word 'former' - panic over. Phew.
