The Liverpool squad ensured that they wouldn't get caught in potential train travel chaos by heading down to London on Thursday night.
Jurgen Klopp's men take on Arsenal at the Emirates on Friday night and the squad have travelled from Liverpool Lime Street station down to the capital in plenty of time to ensure there is no disruption on their day.
Industrial action from Virgin Trains staff throughout Friday has been cancelled - but the company have warned that there still could be cancelled services due to rota changes.
There is no risk of Liverpool not making the game though, as they hopped onto the train for a first-class dart to London in the darkness of Thursday evening.
Meanwhile, Mo Salah was not included in Wednesday evening's training session at Melwood as he was given a rest - but he did travel with the squad for the game.
The forward, in red hot form this season, was a notable absentee from the session just 48 hours before the Reds face the Gunners at the Emirates.
Salah not being with his team-mates also meant he missed out on a fun Christmas photo.
This came on the same day he was announced as a brand ambassador for Vodafone in his native Egypt.
Salah did not return to his homeland for the launch and was in fact at the club's Melwood training HQ undergoing rehab work to be in peak condition for the Gunners.
Vodafone hailed Salah as "the best player in Africa for 2017, and the English Premier League and Egyptian national team" in their Facebook announcement on the signing.
They also claim that Salah - whose goals propelled Egypt to their first World Cup since 1990 earlier this year - was chosen because of "what he represents for youth in Egypt and the world as an example for the realization of ambitions, dreams and a symbol of an aspiration to a stronger and better future."
Both Salah and teammate Sadio Mane could face a 9,000-mile round trip to Ghana for the African Player of the Year awards on January 4.
Both are nominated for the main award, with the ceremony taking place just a day before Liverpool face Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.
