Manchester United star Paul Pogba has revealed what he missed most about the Champions League during his year exile from the competition in an interview with Copa 90 .

The Frenchman traded the Champions League for the Europa League when sealing a record £89million move to Old Trafford.

Pogba played consistently in Europe's major club tournament with the Serie A side for four seasons, and made it to the final in 2015.

In the four seasons since Alex Ferguson has retired, the Red Devils have only twice qualified for the Champions League.

When asked what he missed most about the Champions League, Pogba replied: "You don't even know. I've missed the music. I was here looking at my friends at Juventus and listening to the music and I'm like... [shakes head].

"We are back at it. We are back. It feels great."

Lingard, who last played Champions League football under Louis van Gaal in 2015, added: "I experienced it before a couple of seasons ago and we've already got that feeling, so hopefully we can crack on and concentrate on it.

"It's one of the best competitions in the world so it's nice to be part of it."
