Romelu Lukaku got the news he was waiting for on Monday.

The Manchester United forward will not face any disciplinary action from the FA despite appearing to kick out at Brighton & Hove Albion defender Gaetan Bong during the sides' meeting at Old Trafford over the weekend, which United won 1-0 thanks to a Lewis Dunk own goal.

Many had expected the Belgian forward to face a ban following the incident, but he's now clear to play against Watford on Tuesday evening.

Lukaku clearly made contact with Bong, and the decision not to ban him has been met with widespread surprise on Twitter, particularly in light of the recent decision to ban Everton's Oumar Niasse for diving.

Supporters - admittedly of United's rivals - could barely believe it.

Should he have been banned?
