Jose Mourinho shared a throwback picture of his wife in a romantic gesture as they spent her birthday apart.
The Manchester United manager posted a photo of Matilde Faria with the message “happy birthday” yesterday.
He also included emojis of a birthday cake and a love-heart in his Instagram photo.
Mourinho was spotted shopping in the city with his assistant coach Ricardo Formosinho while Matilda was believed to be at home in London.
Matilde, who is also affectionately known as Tami, was born in Angola and is a keen humanitarian.
She is often seen travelling the world supporting the WFP (World Food Programme) in a bid to banish hunger, as their special ambassador.
The couple met as teenagers after growing up just streets apart in Setabul, Portugal and married in 1989.
They have a son, Jose jnr (nicknamed Zuca), and a daughter, also called Matilde .
