Paris Saint-Germain star Lucas Moura has spoken out after being advised to join Arsenal in the January transfer window.

Former Chelsea and PSG defender Alex instructed his fellow Brazilian to sign for the Gunners, saying it would be just the tonic to get his career firing again.

Speaking to L'Equipe, Alex said: "I would like to see him at Arsenal. They play cleaner football, more technical. He had contacts, I believe. That would be a good option for him this winter."

Moura has since spoken out about his future, and hinted that he would like to remain where he is and battle for his place in the first team.

"But I am concentrating on improving my physical performance. Whatever the situation with the national team, that is Tite's decision.

"I need to concentrate on improving at PSG.
