Jose Mourinho continued the war of words with Pep Guardiola following Sunday's feisty Manchester derby.

City won 2-1 at Old Trafford before the two sets of players came to blows during an ugly tunnel fracas.

The two bosses addressed the incident on Tuesday as they looked ahead to their respective midweek fixtures.

"The only thing I can say is that for me it was just a question of diversity, a diversity in behaviours, diversity in education, just that and nothing more than that,” Mourinho said.

Or so it seemed.

BeIN Sports pundit Richard Keys believes he heard something different.

"Jose saying ‘diversity’ - are we sure? Broken up - the way he’s delivering it - it sounds more like ‘diver-city’. Listen again," he tweeted.

Of course, Mourinho had previously raised suspicions of play-acting when he accused City's table-toppers of going to ground easily in the build-up to Sunday's clash.

Despite Keys' insistence, social media users were having absolutely none of it.
