Ronald Koeman has been installed as the new joint-favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave their club.

The Dutchman oversaw a 4-0 drubbing for his Everton side by Manchester United at Old Trafford as the Red Devils piled the pressure on the Toffees boss.

It was a result which left Everton 18th in the Premier League, in the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference from West Ham, Brighton and Leicester.

The Blues also tasted defeat in their first Europa League group game, being beaten 3-0 at Atalanta on Thursday evening.

Koeman is now 2/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post, along with Slaven Bilic at West Ham.

United scored three times in the last 10 minutes to add gloss to the scoreline, and Koeman insists it wasn't a fair reflection of the match.

"Sometimes you get more than you deserve," he said.

"We made a big mistake at 1-0 and after that it was over. From what I saw today from the team it made me happy. More happy than Thursday.

"We grew in the game and in confidence and not many teams will get two big chances like we got today. We didn't score the goal and after a personal mistake it was 2-0."
