Manchester United fans are getting excited - they think they have another superstar on their hands.

England's Under-17s got their World Cup campaign off to the perfect start by beating Chile 4-0 in India, and while Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho struck twice, it was United's Angel Jomes that caught the eye.

He curled in a sumptuous free-kick to complete the rout, and it's fair to say Red Devils fans are looking forward to seeing what's to come in the future from the starlet.

Gomes, born in London in 2000, joined the United academy aged just six and penned formal terms aged 13.

In August last year he became the youngest player to score a hat-trick for United at academy level since 2001.

He made his first-team debut in May, replacing Wayne Rooney in a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, becoming the youngest player to play for United at senior level since Duncan Edwards in 1953.
