Thierry Henry has named Manchester City star David Silva as the "most creative player the Premier League has seen".

The Spaniard won all three points for Pep Guardiola's side when he scored an 83rd minute winner against West Ham on Sunday.

It may have been only the 31-year-old's second goal of the season, but he has also contributed eight Premier League assists this campaign so far, too.

Following City's 2-1 win over the Hammers on Sunday, Henry was full of praise for the Spain international.

"He's the best creative midfielder we've seen in this league," the Gunners legend said on Sky Sports.

"I didn't see everyone play, but David Silva wants the ball and plays the same way against every team. He puts his foot in and doesn't shy away from the ball. He's brave off the ball and on the ball. What a player."
