Harry Kane insists Tottenham can continue their perfect Champions League campaign by securing a stunning win at Real Madrid next month.
Spurs head to the Bernabeu next month for the toughest test of their Group H campaign.
Both sides are locked on six points after winning their opening two games though Madrid, who have won back-to-back Champions Leagues will be big favourites.
But Kane, whose stunning hat-trick earned Spurs a 3-0 win at APOEL Nicosia last night, said: “We feel we can beat anyone on our day.
"Of course we know it will be tough but it will be two good teams, an open game probably.
“It will probably come down again to who is more clinical in the final third, hopefully that can be us. We are going there to win, not just to get a result, but we will see what happens.”
The upcoming Madrid double header sets up a mouth-watering showdown between Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Madrid superstar and current Ballon d'Or holder is established as one of the world's best players.
Kane, whose APOEL treble took him to 34 goals in 30 games and six hat-tricks this year, is now inviting comparison's with the game's greats due to his sensational form.
He has made no secret of his desire to be reach the same heights of the likes of Ronaldo and said: “We probably won’t be up against each other much in the game but it’s always great to play the best in the world.
“I've never met him but I’m a fan, of course. I’m a fan of great footballers and he is one of the best, especially of my generation.
“Hopefully we can win and I can maybe score more goals than him but we will see what happens.
“They have one of the best defences with Ramos, Marcelo, players like that.
“I want to test myself against the best, they have been the best the last few years without a doubt.
“I'm looking forward to it – never been to the Bernabeu, going to be exciting. Want to put in a performance like I have been recently.”
