Riyad Mahrez's 80th minute equaliser cancelled out Nacer Chadli's earlier goal meaning the Foxes finished the match winless after six Premier League games.
The poor streak was clearly enough reason for Leicester's chiefs to wield their axe and dismiss Shakespeare.
It's not the first time a manager has either been sacked or left the club after facing West Brom. In fact, seven other bosses have experienced West Brom's fabled scythe after playing against the club.
