Bayern Munich have reportedly turned their attention to Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco after cooling their interest in Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez .

The German champions have been linked with a move for the Gunners playmaker, as the Chilean approaches the final year of his deal at the Emirates.

Contract talks between the club and player have stalled with no agreement appearing close, which has cast doubts on Sanchez's future in north London.

Bayern were one of several clubs monitoring developments but according to L'Equipe , they have now moved onto their next target.

They report that Belgian international Carrasco is their chief target now and are willing to bid €50million to land the 23-year-old.

Carrasco joined Diego Simeone's side from Monaco in 2015 and has become a key part of their side.

He is currently under contract until 2020, but matters could be muddied by Atletico's transfer ban.

The club were last month banned from registering new players until January 2018, meaning that they would not be able to secure a replacement during this transfer window.

Sanchez yesterday became Chile's all-time leading goalscorer when he netted the opener in Los Rojas' 1-1 draw with Germany in the Confederation Cup to move past Marcelo Salas and onto 38 goals.
