Arsenal are reportedly lining up a bid for Hoffenheim midfielder Karim Demirbay.

The 24-year-old is keen on a move to the Premier League, with Everton also keen.

But Newsmondo reports the Gunners are ready to make a bid for the German before the end of the transfer window.

Demirbay has impressed so far for Hoffenheim this season and has two goals to his name.

Jack Wilshere has once again revealed his intentions to stay at Arsenal beyond the end of the current season.

The 26-year-old's contract is set to expire in the summer, and despite recent praise from Arsene Wenger, he has yet to be offered a new deal.

Wilshere has struggled with injuries throughout his career, and failed to set the world alight on loan at Bournemouth last season.

He returned to Arsenal at the start of this campaign after suffering yet another injury, and it appeared to everyone that his career at the top was in jeopardy.
