Arsenal are winning the race for Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto, despite interest from AC Milan and Juventus.

That is according to Calcio Mercato, who say the 21-year-old Czech has been watched by the Gunners for over a year.

Arsene Wenger attempted to seal a deal for Jankto over the summer but the transfer fell through - and now the Frenchman has rekindled his interest.

Jankto has scored twice in 13 games for Udinese and reportedly had a £6million release clause in his contract.
