Arsenal are on alert after Roma defender Kostas Manolas snubbed a new contract, according to Calciomercato.

The Gunners were linked with a move for Manolas over the summer before they secured the deal to bring Shkodran Mustafi to the Emirates.

But Manolas could be considered for a move with Per Mertesacker still injured and Gabriel not fancied.

The Greek star still has a contract in Rome until 2019 but if reports of his contract snub are true, his valuation will begin to drop.

Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is set to be questioned on his large annual salary, according to the Daily Mail.

The Gunners' shareholders are reportedly concerned at the £2.65million that Gazidis received last year and will quiz him at Monday's AGM.

Arsenal Supporters' Trust are believed to have sent questions in advance questioning why Gazidis deserved a £1million bonus.

They want to know what targets he met, as the club finished the season without any silverware to show for their efforts.

Revenue figures were not overly impressive, with kit supply and shirt sponsorship deals lagging about 50 per cent behind Chelsea's.

It is claimed Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia are also interested in the former Malaga star.

Arsenal 6-0 Ludogorets: 5 things we learned

Mesut Ozil sent Arsenal's six-shooters on a centenary romp as manager Arsene Wenger revealed: “He scores when he wants.”

As Ozil's first treble for the club crowned a swaggering display, Wenger chalked up his 100 th win in Europe with the Gunners.

Alexis Sanchez had begun the rout with the finest chip since Tiger Woods won the Masters after just 12 minutes.

The Chilean wizard checked his stride before scooping a sensational chip over stranded keeper Vladislav Stoyanov as Alexis Sanchez surged to the brink of their customary place in the last 16.

Then Ozil tucked into the outclassed Bulgarians with a hat-trick, completing his treble with a volley reminiscent of Robin van Persie's memorable strike against Everton five years ago.

Here are 5 things we learned from the evening.

Roy Keane reckons it will be a "disaster" if Mesut Ozil quits the Emirates, writes Mirror Football's Jake Murtagh.

The Arsenal ace smashed a hat-trick as the Gunners hit Ludogorets for six in the Champions League on Wednesday night to continue their unbeaten start to the season in Europe.

However, Ozil has just over 18 months remaining on his £140,000-a-week contract in north London and has so far refused to put pen to paper on an extension.

Manchester United legend Keane claims Arsenal must pull out the stops to get the German star to commit his future to the club.

The ITV pundit said: "Getting Ozil signed up is vital for the club and what will help them is winning trophies.

"I know they look a bit short when it comes to the Champions League and Premier League but Arsenal have to get these players signed up - it will be a disaster if they don't."

Arsene Wenger has told his Arsenal stars to ensure they avoid complacency after dismantling Ludogorets in the Champions League, writes Mirror Football's Aaron Flanagan.

Mesut Ozil scored his first career hat-trick during the 6-0 victory, which also saw goals from Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

It extends Arsenal's winning run to seven in all competitions.

"Our confidence is stronger with every win but we have to keep the vigilance as well, and the urgency to bring that into the next game," Wenger told BT Sport. "Let's not be too quick on the verdict.

"We have a strong squad and a strong spirit, but you have to take care of it and keep your feet on the ground.

"The only way to win something big is to focus on the next one and work on humility."
