Arsene Wenger admitted he remains uncertain over Alexis Sanchez’s future - but Arsenal’s official 2018 calendar may have provided a huge hint over the Chilean’s stay.
Manchester City and PSG are desperate to land the forward, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Sanchez scored twice in Thursday’s 3-2 Premier League win over Crystal Palace.
But Wenger afterwards said the star’s future is up in the air.
The same can be said for Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere, who are also available on a free next summer if they do not put pen to paper on new Emirates deals.
Here, our colleagues at Football.London have the full story on what could be in store for the trio.
An image of Arsenal's official 2018 calendar may have revealed some major news on the futures of three Arsenal stars, including Mesut Ozil, writes Tashan Deniran-Alleyne .
Germany international Ozil is in the final six months of his contract at the Emirates, and as of yet, there's been little indication that he will sign a new deal before the end of January which has prompted speculation that he could soon leave or on a free next summer.
Team-mates Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez are also in the same predicament.
But talks with the former are already underway, while the placement of the latter in the aforementioned calendar could be a sign that he is indeed leaving North London once the winter transfer window opens.
In what might just be strategic planning, Alexis has taken the month of January which won't cause too much concern for perspective buyers.
No matter what happens the 29-year-old will still be an Arsenal player on the first day of 2018.
Wilshere, meanwhile, is set to win a new deal - but he doesn't even feature on the calendar.
