Diego Costa's hopes of a move to Atletico Madrid finally coming to fruition may have taken a significant step forward.

After reports that the Brazil-born Spain international had relocated his family to Madrid came claims the La Liga club had sent representatives to London to broker a deal.

Costa wants to go to Atleti and the club want Costa but Chelsea are refusing to be bullied into a sale but the player who's refused to report for duty this season.

The Express now reports Atletico officials "will meet Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia" and are said to be willing to raise their offer to £32m.

Of course, nothing can happen until January due to a FIFA transfer embargo.
