Barcelona reportedly made a shock bid for Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann this summer.

Barca were desperate to land a replacement for Neymar after his world-record move to PSG.

They were frustrated in their pursuit of Philippe Coutinho and eventually landed Ousmane Dembele from Dortmund.

But according to Onda Cero, Barca wanted Griezmann from Atletico.

Atleti have recently raised the Frenchman's release clause and were reluctant to sell, given they would have been unable to replace him.
