Liverpool and Everton are both keen on Charlton teenager Ezri Konsa.

The 19-year-old was part of England Under-20s’ World Cup-winning squad last summer. Now, the Addicks are bracing themselves for offers for the centre-back when the transfer window reopens in January.

Charlton have lost Joe Gomez to the red half of Merseyside and Ademola Lookman to the blue half, and there’s a chance Konsa will follow them to the north-west early next year.

Liverpool also plan to send rookie winger Harry Wilson out on loan to the Championship in January.

The 20-year-old — who at 16 became Wales’ youngest-ever capped player — is being eyed by Barnsley after seeing a summer switch blocked. The Reds rate Wilson, but want him to carry on in the second-tier.
