Manchester City are ready to splash £44m on another full back - if they can fight off Barcelona.

Pep Guardiola spent over £70m on right backs in the summer, with Kyle Walker and Danilo both being added to the Etihad squad.

But the Spaniard is still desperate to raid former club Bayern Munich to grab Germany international Joshua Kimmich, according to Bild.

City will have to battle it out with Barca, whose need for a right back is well known despite Nelson Semedo impressing since joining in the summer.

Bayern aren't thought to be keen on selling their star man.
