Manchester United are reportedly lining up a £25million bid for Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon.

The 17-year-old has been a long-time target of Tottenham Hotspur but signed a new deal with the Cottagers in the summer.

However, he continues to be linked with a move away from the Championship club, with United ready to test their resolve to hang onto the teenage sensation with a January bid, according to the Guardian .

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic said: “In this moment, I am not thinking of being without him for the season, but it is not under my control.

“All the questions are what the value of this player is, but myself, as a coach, I prefer to stay with the more important players for the competition that is ahead of us, but on the other side I can understand the business side too. If we want to be competitive we must keep our important players.”

Under-fire duo dropped for United's trip to Leicester

Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian have not travelled with the Manchester United squad for tomorrow's Premier League clash at Leicester.

Blind and Darmian came in for criticism following United's midweek 2-1 League Cup defeat to Championship side Bristol City and look to have been axed as a result.

The defenders were not spotted as United's players and staff boarded a flight to Leicester ahead of tomorrow's evening kick-off at the King Power Stadium.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who came on at Bristol after being left out of eight of United's previous nine matchday squads, has travelled with the rest of the party.
