Manchester United have reportedly suffered a blow in their chase for Juventus full-back Alex Sandro.

The Brazil international is said to be unsettled at the Italian champions and angling for a move in the January transfer window, with the Red Devils keen on bringing him in.

With Luke Shaw potentially leaving the club next month, Jose Mourinho's men are short at left-back and see Sandro as one of their top targets.

But according to the Sun, the player himself would rather join Antonio Conte at Chelsea.

The Blues made an offer for him last summer, but did not meet the club's asking price of £80m.

That is likely to be lowered and Chelsea will likely look to take advantage of the player's preference to move to Stamford Bridge - and leave United looking for further reinforcements

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has launched a fresh attack on Pep Guardiola.

The Swede played under Guardiola during his time at Barcelona with the pair falling out before he moved on to Inter Milan.

It is believed Ibrahimovic was at the heart of the Old Trafford brawl on Sunday following City's victory over United.

Ibrahimovic has reasserted his view on his former boss in an interview with Sky Italia, reports the Manchester Evening News.

"I told Guardiola that he’d sacrificed the other players for Messi," he said. "He told me he understood me."
