David de Gea and Real Madrid have been connected regularly in recent years with the Man United keeper making no secret of his desire to return to Spain.

Now Diario Gol claims he's been in the ear of Spain team mate Sergio Ramos asking him to help secure the move to the Bernabeu.

They say De Gea's star has risen to such a degree that the only club he can leave for is Real.

De Gea is said to believe the move is a logical one after the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Manchester United set to build 'ring of steel' around Aon Training Complex amid terror threat

Manchester United are reportedly set to beef up security at their £60 million Aon Training Complex due to the looming threat of terrorist attacks in the country.

The Red Devils have submitted plans to build a 'ring of steel' around the club's training facilities, with bollards, automatic barriers and an eleven foot steel gate among the security improvements set to be introduced.

Match day security has already been increased at Old Trafford this season, with fans now searched more thoroughly before entering the ground and the size of bags allowed into the venue has been reduced.

Other clubs in the country have also made significant increases to their security in response to the ongoing terror threat.
