Manchester United are willing to table a huge bid to land Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco in the summer.

That is according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, who say Jose Mourinho is keen to take the 23-year-old ace to Old Trafford.

The Special One is reportedly impressed by the Belgian's exciting style on the flank and is willing to spend big money to sign him.

United's chances of attracting Carrasco to the Premier League will seemingly depend on their involvement in the Champions League.

Jose Mourinho has claimed Manchester United didn't 'rest' players in their win against Chelsea.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were both named on the bench for the match, which the Red Devils won 2-0, writes Mirror Football's James Whaling.

"Maybe we didn't 'rest' players ahead of Thursday, we just chose the team we thought was the best team," Mourinho told Sky Sports.

"We went to Stamford Bridge in the cup with same tactics, the game was totally controlled with 11 players, only the decision that made us play with 10 men for the second half and 10 minutes in the first half, gave Chelsea a chance to be dominant."
