Swansea, Brighton and Sunderland are all keen on Wales teen sensation Tyler Roberts.

The highly-rated forward, 18, has scored three times for Walsall, on loan from West Brom.

Roberts has already been named in the Wales Under-21 squad for their game against Liechtenstein on October 5.

All three clubs have been monitoring his progress. Such has been Roberts' impact with the Saddlers, Walsall boss Jon Whitney is trying to extend his loan spell beyond January.

Whitney joked: "I would like to sign him on a three year contract but I don't think that is going to happen!

"I think he has stepped up. I watched him on loan at Oxford when he was 17 but he has really kicked on from then. The ability has always been there. What we have worked on is how he plays in the lone striker role. We will do whatever we can to keep him."
