Tottenham will not entertain any advances for defender Danny Rose.

The England left-back has been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea this week, as well as Inter Milan.

But Spurs are not willing to let Rose go and will reject any approaches from their rivals, reports Football.London.

Mauricio Pochettino has already lost Kyle Walker to Manchester City and is determined to keep hold of the rest of his current first-team.

United made an approach for Eric Dier this summer but Spurs made it clear the 23-year-old was not for sale.

Although a move back to the north may appeal to the Doncaster-born player, Rose stated how happy he was in the capital after signing a new five-year deal with the Lilywhites back in September.

Rose said: "I'm settled here. I'm slowly turning into a southerner!

"I'll be here until I'm 31 and at the moment, I couldn't wish for anything more than to play for Spurs for the rest of my career.

"Everyone knows that the club is going in the right direction and I'm over the moon that I've earned a new contract that will keep me here until I'm an old man!"

Rose, who is still sidelined through a knee injury picked up in January, will be hopeful of returning to full training very soon.
