So it looks like it's happening, then.

Tuesday's report that Alexandre Lacazette is undergoing his medical at Arsenal's London Colney training ground has got Gunners fans all over the world very excited at the prospect of seeing the Frenchman lead their line next season, and they haven't been shy to express that excitement.

Signing a new forward at any time is always great, of course, and especially when that forward is going to break your transfer record, and so there are plenty of happy Gooners out there in the world right now.
