If you're an Arsenal fan, then there are few sights more terrifying than Didier Drogba .

The Ivorian - Chelsea's fourth highest goalscorer of all-time with 164 strikes - had a remarkable record against the Gunners when he was with the west Londoners, scoring 15 goals in 15 games against them as Arsene Wenger's men simply cowered in his presence.

Drogba loves facing the Gunners so much that he even netted against them for a 16th time in 16 games last summer, when he fired for an MLS All-Star team during Arsenal's pre-season tour of the United States.

And now he wants to make it 17 in 17.

Because just after Arsenal beat Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final in extra-time on Sunday - earning a final against Chelsea next month - Drogba took to Twitter to offer his former club his services.

With his tongue firmly in his cheek, he informed his new club Phoenix Rising - who he joined earlier this month, and was given a hero's welcome at on Saturday - that he'll be joining Chelsea on loan for just two days: the 26th and 27th of May.

The latter of those will be when the cup final is staged, and Drogba seemingly sees this as the perfect chance to make it 17 out of 17 against the Gunners.

It remains to be seen if Antonio Conte grants the 39-year-old his wish, but surely he could do a decent job as an impact sub at Wembley?

The look on Arsene Wenger's face would be a picture...
