The world can't wait for Manchester United v Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday, as the old rivals clash in what has become a hugely important game in the battle to finish just behind Manchester City.
Although recent fixtures have turned into damp squibs, these two have been able to boast some of the best performers that this division has ever seen. The sight of them facing off against each other always draws huge audiences from around the globe, and it'll be the same again this weekend.
Sometimes, though... well sometimes there are some pretty rubbish players involved too, despite the grandeur of the occasion.
This is a celebration of those players, who we've turned into surely the worst United v Liverpool XI of all-time.
Get ready to cringe.
Massimo Taibi
Played in: Liverpool 2-3 Man United, 1999
Ah, of course.
Contrary to popular belief, the Italian actually played pretty well on what was his United debut at Anfield, although he did flap at a cross to allow Sami Hyypia to score.
He would only play three more times for the club before becoming a footnote in comedy history.
Michael Clegg
Played in: Liverpool 2-3 Man United, 1999
What do you mean who? You know, Michael Clegg.
The youth team product (Class of 95, not 92) came on for Gary Neville late on in that same game in 1999.
And was never heard of again.
Steven Caulker
Played in: Liverpool 0-1 Man United, 2016
Remember when Steven Caulker played for Liverpool? What a time to be alive that was.
The big on-loan defender came on UPFRONT in the closing stages as United led 1-0 at Anfield in January 2016.
It stayed 1-0.
Torben Piechnik
Played in: Man United 2-2 Liverpool, 1992
Always a staple on those 'Liverpool's worst ever player' lists, Danish defender Piechnik played in the first ever Premier League meeting between the sides at Old Trafford.
Amazingly, the Reds only conceded two goals.
Paul Konchesky
Played in: Man United 3-2 Liverpool, 2010
Roy Hodgson's Liverpool side which lost 3-2 at Old Trafford in 2010 is going to feature a lot here, and Konchesky was in many ways their flag bearer.
After following Hodgson from Fulham that summer the left-back's Reds career was very much like his manager's.
Brief, confusing and not very good.
Luke Chadwick
Played in: Man United 0-1 Liverpool, 2000 & Liverpool 2-0 Man United, 2001
There have been worse players to play for United - although not many - but Chadwick makes the cut because of his awful record against Liverpool.
In his first appearance he came on with 10 minutes to go and was sent off nine minutes later, then a few months later another substitute appearance couldn't salvage anything from a 2-0 defeat at Anfield.
Christian Poulsen
Played in: Man United 3-2 Liverpool, 2010
For those who don't remember Poulsen's Liverpool career, simply look at how fast, dynamic and hard-working the current Reds midfield are then think of what the opposite would look like.
That was him.
Ben Thornley
Played in: Man United 1-1 Liverpool, 1998
This is harsh, because injuries robbed Ben Thornley of a chance at a proper United career after he'd been a shining light in the youth sides.
But he's in just for the sheer randomness of his 38th minute appearance from the bench in place of an injured Ryan Giggs in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in 1998.
He left the club a month later.
Milan Jovanovic
Played in: Man United 3-2 Liverpool, 2010
Liverpool really did have some rubbish at the beginning of this decade didn't they?
With the Reds drawing 2-2 at Old Trafford and the game in the balance, Hodgson threw on Jovanovic trying to change things.
Dimitar Berbatov scored the winner for United five minutes later.
Iago Aspas
Played in: Liverpool 1-0 Man United, 2013 & Man United 0-3 Liverpool, 2014
He finished up on the winning side on both occasions that he faced them, and has since proven to be a decent player, but Iago Aspas didn't exactly do anything to affect those wins during his year at Liverpool.
Replacing a banned Luis Suarez, Aspas wandered around the pitch for an hour in the Reds' 1-0 win over United early on in 2013/14, before coming on as a last minute substitute for Daniel Sturridge in the 3-0 win over David Moyes' side in March 2014.
Presumably to take the mick.
David Bellion
Played in: Man United 0-1 Liverpool, 2004
There was a time in the early 2000s when Liverpool would repeatedly win at Old Trafford, and there was nothing that United could do to stop them.
By the third occasion of the century in 2004, the hosts had reached the end of their tether so much that Ferguson threw on Bellion for the final eight minutes.
It didn't work.
